Gale slumps down so he's sitting underneath the tree. He lets out a sigh and looks up at the branches, which are begining to be covered with snow.

Rose stares at the ledge and the sword. "Can't fly...But maybe..." She looks around for an aid, spying it five feet from her. She hurries and grabs a long, sturdy stick. Running at the water, she vaults at it. The end result gets her about a quarter of the way there.
Water blinds her almost immeditatly. The rocks under her hands are slippery and hard to grasp. Her wings and clothes are pelted to her sides. Rose dangles, gathering the strength to move. Her hand reaches out and grabs hold the next rock. Finding a footing, she moves blindly up the falls. Robbed of her ability to see, it's not long before she slips. Her eyes fly open in shock and she sees her salvation, an unusually large rock jutting out three feet to her left. She reaches for it and grabs it-barely. Rose looks around for another way up. The sword and the ledge are about 20 feet above her head to the right. Between her and it are no more rocks, no more footholds. But the rock was large. Slowly, she pulls her body on to it. Too slowly. The water around her is getting quite hot. Using the last of her strength, she leaps at the ledge... ...and lands on the very edge. Exhausted and wet, she collaspes on it and looks down at Gale. |

One is watching the session when he spots something out of the corner of his eye. He turns around and sees nothing, he ignores it and turns back around to see Rose having completed the assignment. "Hmph, ten minutes is way too long. . . . that was easy. You're losing your touch, Gale. Without the use of my legs I can make it up there in less than half that time."

"Are you bloody insane?! Grab the damn sword you idiot!" Gale scoffs at One, and watches the water get hotter.

One laughs. "I guess I was wrong. Even though you are losing your touch, the brat comes out looking like the fool. Oh look, the water is starting to steam."

"I'll teach you about skill in a minute if you don't keep quiet." Gale looks at One, smirking, he wasn't being to serious.

Gale frowns, and turns to One. "What to back that up, dear brother?" Gale speaks in all seriousness.

She shrugs slightly. "I would imagine it would become tiresome to be injured and in pain all the time.."

"But Laena, that which does not kill us, makes us stronger, no? We're a warrior race, this is just what we do." He turns to Gale. "I'm sorry, Gale. Was just looking for some fun."

She frowns slightly, but nods in understanding. "I suppose it is difficult for me to understand, as I am of a completely different race.."

Laena laughs bitterly. "I'm afraid not.. For the immortal can also be given the ultimate punishment of eternal damnation..."

Gale thinks for a moment. "Then I suppose the term immortal is misleading."

"Not misleading.. A double edged sword, perhaps.." She looks down at the ground, her arms folded in front of her. "The immortal may remain on the Earth for as long as she lives, with all of her pain and anguish.. The only way to escape it is eternal damnation, where every misguided spirit relives their worst nightmares forever.. It seems.. that no matter what I do, I am destined to suffer."
She glances at One. "It is different for every creature.. For a Siren, it would be to not follow your nature.. To not use our powers to control our prey.." |

"I see. . . . " One drifts off for a second and then turns around staring off towards the woods. Many shadows laying on the floor from the trees. He sees the silhouette of a man, but as One blinks, it disappeared. Maybe he was seeing things. He pans the area from where he's standing and doesn't see anything else. Once again, he ignores it and turns back to hear the conversation between Laena and Gale.

Gale nods grimly, he now fully understood what was bothering Laena. If it was someone else, and he wasn't involved, he would of called Laena foolish for doing such a thing. But now he was diffrent, he felt...sympathetic. Almost guilty.

Laena appears even paler than before. "Perhaps.. it is too late for me to even try to fight.." She glances at the both of them, not wanting either of them harmed.. It would probably be wise for her to leave before her sisters arrive..

Gale's eyes darken slightly after hearing Laena. "I might be only training that kid but never give up in my presence. It's sickening." Gale probally didn't mean to sound so harsh, but he still wasn't use to his new...feelings.

"Gale?" Rose walks up to him. She burned from the steam, but she has Sin in hand. And she's alive.

Gale snatches Sin and scoffs at Rose. "Lesson one, NEVER forget your objective. If you hadn't spent time to look down on us, you have gotten Sin and wouldn't be burned." Gale turns, and walks back to the castle. "Anyone who's coming to Capital, follow me."

One knows full well what Gale and Laena are speaking of, but he knows better than to comment. He turns to see Rose coming. "There goes dinner, damn."

She arches an eyebrow at Gale, then smiles. "I see.. I will make note of that." She shoots an annoyed look at Rose, then follows Gale to the castle.

Gale walks into the garage and hops into the driver seat of the jeep, he turns it on, and waits for anyone else.

Rose glares at One out of the corner of her eye and follows Gale. As she walks, she massages a burn in the middle of her palm. "Stupid rocks. Stupid water. Stupid sword!"
Her curious nature gets the best of her after following sitting in the jeep with Gale for a minute or so. "Why are we going to the Capital?" |

One turns around with the rest of them and follows. He eventually makes it to the Jeep and jumps in the back. "I'm telling you, if I wasn't Abbissian, I'd most likely be human. I love these things."

Laena silently gets in the front seat of the Jeep, looking around curiously. She'd never been in a vehicle before, although she had heard about the devastating crashes these contraptions had gotten into.. She hopes that Gale knows how to drive this thing.

Gale looks at Rose and lets out a snarl, if she hadn't asked One the question. He would of backhanded her. He turns around and starts the car. He immeadiately floors it and the car races out of the castle, while Gale laughs like a child. |

"Arcade." Gale bursts out laughing after a few minutes. "Years ago. Back when they first were developed. I can drive a good deal of things. Just not "correctly." Gale swerves to avoid a tree. "Whoops."

Rose hangs on for dear life, enjoying the speed and danger. She turns to look at One again. "Why is it going to be tougher?"

The branch that Laena ducked for smacks One in the face. "Mother****er! Son of a bitch! That hurts!!!" One sits there rubbing his nose. "Damn, that's not fun."
He turns to Rose. "What makes it tougher? It's full of angels. You being of demons should know how strong they are." One talks while rubbing his nose. |

"Then why are we going there? I mean...aren't they enemies to Abbis too?" Rose's mind has thus far seen the Abbis as being a type of super demon. She has no idea of what they really are.
